Humanitarian Act for Economically Weaker Section Children on 20-01-2019

SCAW (Sleeping children around the world ) by Rotary club of Ambatur this 33 rd year we from Rotary Club Chennai Bharathi take immense pleasure in taking part in this well organized , humanitarian act for economically weaker section children helped by Foreigners from Canada year after year a great dedication. I could feel the great and big heart they had when they gave away the kits for these children. Kit had all things needed s for a child on 20/01/2019 venue was Sindhi model senior secondary school. Thank you Vasanthi Ranganathan mam and RCA for giving us this opportunity . Indeed we are indebted to all . This ongoing SCAW Project is the best of it's kind and a unique way of reaching out the poor children. From the desk of Rotary club if Ambatur We have been distributing 6000 + kits every year during January partnering with SCAW Canada. Due to the good offices of Rtn. Ravishankar and the SCAW team, 7000 kits allotted to us for distribution this year. RCA has decided that the additional kits need to be distributed in the clubs in our own district. Thanks to our club Rtn Rtn-Dr Banu Priya Nehru Director community development who brought all the children and Rtn Rtn-Dr D Arul Raj who gave transport support and all the members who attended .


FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Monthly giving provisions to 25 families for mentally challenged people, Physically challenged people, widows.

Education support for poor & the needy people like single parent student for school and college student with the support of Mangalam charitable trust.

Thenmadi Mangalam , Polur , TVM dist , Tamilnadu : Built Police station , Bus Stop & Shelter and did many ancient temple renovations through Mangalam chaitable trust ( Dr Renuka Ramakrishnan is director of Mangalam Charitable Trust ).

On 2015 flood livelihood project for slum people to start small businesses, Who lost business in 2015 Chennai flood. Petti Kaddai, Ironing shop, Tea shop, sewing machine, Home needs with the help of AIMS CLUB.

On 13th December 2017 : # OCKHI_CYCLONE Relief materials worth ONE Lakh rupees with the help of volunteers with many donors contribution by forming a QAF( Quick Action Force ) in WhatsApp and supported 6 villages.Education support for poor & the needy people like single parent student for school and college student with the support of Mangalam charitable trust.

Contribute Rs.4,500/- of Cheque to the Physically Challenged People in ANNAINESAM charitable trust located in K.K.Nagar to motivate them to do self employment on 24.03.2017
