Our unique and memorable project Rotary Club Chennai Bharathi takes great pleasure in celebrating and jointly conducing the 3 Rd Tamilnadu State level art and cultural festival for hearing and speech impaired children along with Madras association of deaf today 25/10/2018 called "Magizhula". Students from various districts and schools participated . As I could see the hall was silent but I was looking at them amazed because actually they were talking and enjoying themselves in there own sign language which I was not able to understand. No words to explain as we judged them for various competition from Rangoli ,Fancy dress,painting ,Drawing and Face painting wow was my reaction because they seem to excel in all fields . Thanks to Chithra and other office bearers of the association. Thanks to Shanmugasurian and of course not to miss my duo Rtn Rtn-Dr Banu Priya Nehru and Rtn-Dr D Arul Raj who came . Thanks to Rtn Suguna Devi Muthuvel our IPP and Rtn Chitra took part as judge for various competition. A day spent valuable with special children .On the whole excellent event . Thanks to one and all. Rotary Club Chennai Bharathi takes pride in World Polio day celebrated along with by RI DT 3232.RCCB attended both the programmes in Rayla towers and Eliots beach . With Our interact school children from DR BMS Matriculation school from Shenoy nagar who actively participated with slogans abd placards about world Polio day in Ryala Towers Annasalai ,We also thank Dr Cmk Reddy sir for being the #chief #guest for giving interesting information on Polio for the younger minds .We also thank our #AG Ravikumar Pb for coming and gracing the occasion. Celebrated our 72nd Independence day first ever with Visually challenged girls home inside Lady Willingdon college ,Marina beach road, with cake cutting* . I was amazed by there perfection inspite of them not able to see. We made them cut the cake and I could see the happiness in there eyes and face when they ate the cake.We could hear them all students studying MA ,Phd ,etc.in various discipline. Sounded amazing when they sang ,and one person Papathi was even a Gold medalist in Judo international level. I thank wholeheartedly *Rtn Rajeshwari mam, Director Vocational services,Rtn.Dr.Banupriya , Director community development for coming and bringing the cake and Rama Krishna for organising this event in a grand manner and fond memories will linger in our minds forever.
