Rotary Club Chennai Bharathi feels happy to do 2 projects on the same day . Project 1)We started with Environment friendly tree plantation drive to celebrate #Dr #APJ #Abdul #Kalam #bday which was on 15/10/2018 but we celebrated on 16/10/2018 because wanted to do the go green project by the students of DR BMS Matriculation school,Shenoy nagar and our chief guest #Rtn.#N.#S.#Saravanan our District coordinator and our Zone AG Rtn Ravikumar Pb who was unable to come .Dr B.S.Thiruvadanam Secretary and Correspondent of the school along with Principal Jayanthi mam . 2) Project was #Interact #club #Installation #ceremony . Chief guest gave an inspiring speech to students which was much appreciated and Dr Thiruvadanam also gave an excellent speech to students and thanked Rotary club of Chennai Bharathi for choosing this school. Later we had installed all office bearers of Interact club by all guests. Indeed it was another memorable day in our life to serve the society.Rtn Rajeswari Thiyagarajan our Director and Rtn Sheela Mukund our Past President also graced the occasion. Thank u one and all . CELEBRATION OF MADRAS WEEK "CLEAN WALLS PROJECT"#In #Lieu #of #Madras #week #our #maiden #Project #of #CLEAN #WALLS Our Unique project of Rotary Club Chennai Bharathi was done by our Director Youth services Nishrin Madraswala on 02/09/2018 .We r indeed proud to say that after seeing our project #The #rotary #club #of #reunion ,#France #has #taken #keen #interest #in #having #a #sister #agreement #with #us!Thanks to our Director of youth service's Rtn #Nishreen #Madraswala for taking Chennai Bharathi for this great opportunity abroad . Wonderful things happen when people come together. It's a chain reaction indeed ,when a desire to change attracts positive vibrations. Weeks of meticulous planning and raising funds lead to this transformation involving volunteers from SAPS (stop abusing Public places),Children from The Bohra Muslim school and Our club co ordinated this event by doing wall painting in a place where it was needed .We have posted before and after photographs to show how we doing a small act can change the world as a beautiful place to live in our community. Timely support from the President Rtn Dr.Renuka and Rtn Banumathi and Rtn Arulraj helped in the smooth sailing of this beautiful event. 2nd Project of *Rotary club of Chennai Bharathi : OPEN DEFECATION FREE ( ODF) VILLAGE -Kottaikuppam village ,Uthukotai,Thiruvallore (DT)* One of the *main focus of RI is hygiene and Sanitation*.In our endeavor to achieve this *RCCB we r indeed proud to inaugrate 12 toilets on 26/07/2018 in Kottaikuppam village* with the gracious presence of our *District trainer and philanthrophist *PDG Rtn J B Kamdar* Today we all witnessed that the real happiness is not what we have but what we give and sharing it with others and making there lives better and memorable one. Could see great happiness and soul satisfaction in the faces of those Women and children who were given the facility with individual toilet for each house. I appreciate our *Past president Rtn Sheela Mukund* who is behind this for her selfless service for past 3 yrs in this remote village . GREEN INSTALATION ROTARY CLUB OF CHENNAI BHARATHI WITH A DIFFERENCE Some days r to be remembered always and embedded in our thoughts forever one such is our RC Chennai Bharathi installation me being elected as the 4 th President on 21/07/2018 and Jayashree Kidambi as our secretary and our back bone treasurer Mangala Jayachandran and an ever dedicated team of board ,old and new members who stand along with us when we need them.Each one is a gem of paradise in their own field.Thanking Chief guest DG Rtn Babu Peram sir ,Guest of honour Dr HV Hande Former health minster of TNadu ,AG Ravikumar sir,IPP Suguna devi Muthuvel ,All PDGs ,All Old and new District officials,Rotarians ,my inspiring presidents,Co secretaries and my loving family members .My all time favorite singer Jyothikalai for rendering a awesome invocation song and team from Guild of service brought by most dedicated Dr GIRIDHAR our member, children of God who played Band and dance was just awesome.
